Adventure Seekers

Our Story

I find being outdoors a stress relief, therapeutic and brings me great joy, especially these last couple of years. I decided I wanted to share this joy with others and start my own SUP company. When thinking of a quality company brand name, it had to be “RILEY” She has been with me on many of my outdoor excursions during the last 5 years. I am passionate about this new adventure and hope you will want to be part of enjoying the outdoors too!

Make a Difference

Giving Back

Being an animal lover, we would like to give back to them. I’ve grown up having dogs most of my life, and they have made me a more caring and better person for it.

We have partnered with several local charities that we will be donating 5% of all our online sales will go to our selected charities.  Please see more on our Animal Charities page along with our running total to date.

Together we can make a difference.

Animal Charities

Donating to amimal charities is a great way to support organizations that work towards the well-being of amimals.  Animals play an important role in our world and they deserve to be treated with compassion and care.

Firstly animal charities help to provide medical care, food and shelter to animals in need.  By donating to these organizations, you can help to provide food and shelter to animals in need
We have chosen to work with these particular local charities to make an impact on the animals in our back yard.

5% of all purchases from our website will be going to the selected animal charities listed below.  There will be links if you would like to donate directly to them as well.

Your donation can make a significant difference in the lives of animals and help create a better world for all living beings.

Okanagan Humane Society

The Okanagan Humane Society (OHS) is a Registered Canadian Charity #8888 17269 RR 0001 committed to spaying and neutering pets to limit pet overpopulation by providing access to veterinary care for the most vulnerable animals in our communities: homeless, lost, abandoned, feral and unowned cats and dogs, and pets of low income families who experience barriers to accessing veterinary care.

OHS operates in all communities of the Okanagan Valley and relies solely on grants and private donations to fund this work.

Critteraid Animal Sanctuary

We have grown from the initial cat sanctuary to include several additional divisions: Dog House Division, Critteraid Farm, Education, Outreach. We have learned to temper our growth with the number of volunteers who commit to caring for the animals.

Community support is vital to a charity like Critteraid where fundraising is constant in order to provide the necessary means for veterinary costs, operational costs and maintenance costs.

Paws it Forward

Paws It Forward began in November 2011 when two friends, working in a pet store, learned about the helpless animals being euthanized at high-kill shelters in California in order to make space. After they enlisted their friends and family to help save over 50 dogs from being euthanized they were able to find loving homes for each one. As the network of people wanting to help grew, they were able to help more dogs.

None of this would be possible without the countless volunteers and foster homes that helped them on their journey.
